 SALON POLICY

At Elana Kay Makeup Studio, we value both your time and ours. These policies are in place to ensure a seamless experience and to maintain the highest standard of service for every client.

 

Arrival & Lateness
 

Clients are kindly asked to arrive 5 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment to allow sessions to run smoothly.

If you are running late, please notify us as soon as possible via info@elanakay.com

Arrivals more than 10 minutes past the scheduled time may result in the appointment being cancelled. In these circumstances, the deposit will be forfeited and the full service fee charged, as the allocated time cannot be extended without impacting other clients.


 

Accompaniment
 

To preserve a calm, professional environment, we kindly request that all clients attend appointments unaccompanied.
 

Children and additional guests are not permitted in the studio. Should a client arrive with a child or guest, the appointment may need to be rescheduled, and our cancellation policy will apply. This policy is in place for insurance purposes and to ensure a relaxed, uninterrupted experience for all clients.
 

Deposits
 

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all bookings.
 

Payment of the deposit confirms your intention to attend and acceptance of all studio policies. Deposits are allocated to a specific date and time and cannot be transferred. Should you wish to cancel and rebook, a new deposit will be required.
 

Cancellations & Rescheduling
 

We require a minimum of 72 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
 

Cancellations or reschedules made within 72 hours of the appointment time will incur the full service fee, as this time cannot be reallocated at short notice.
 

Refunds & Credit Notes
 

Refunds are not available for client-initiated cancellations, including those due to event changes, illness, weather conditions, travel delays, work commitments, or change of mind. Credit notes are also not issued under these circumstances.
 

A full refund will only be provided in the rare event that Elana Kay Makeup Studio must cancel your appointment. In this instance, you will be contacted promptly to arrange a reschedule or refund.

 

Allergies & Sensitivities
 

Clients are responsible for disclosing any known allergies, sensitivities, or previous reactions prior to their appointment.
 

While uncommon, allergic reactions can occur even to products previously used without issue. Elana Kay Makeup Studio cannot be held responsible for allergic reactions where relevant information has not been disclosed. If you experience any adverse reaction following your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible.
